In Jasper!!

G'day all,
                Sorry for the delay, no coverage in the vast wilderness of central Canada!!, only briefly as we went through towns. Had a fantastic time on the Canadian , met some great people and saw countless freight trains as we waited in sidings!  I saw many different loco types including BC rail, Standard cab Dash8's and many different EMD variants.The Dome cars were even better than I expected and I spent the whole trip ( apart from sleeping and eating )in the rear Park car and it's dome! Didn't wan't to get off in Jasper, even though we were 6hrs late!!

    Jasper has trains leaving and arriving almost non-stop and the new camera is getting a workout already! Will be up early in the morning to catch the sun on the beautiful snow topped mountains and get some trains in the morning light!

    Hi Gregg! Sounds like you're living in a Pentrex video! Haha Can't wait to see how the video turns out! I hope the food was agreeable. Have you had the stitches out of your finger yet? All the best mate!

      Hi Stew,
      Yes mate , got some great footage today in Jasper , the trains were not busy today, maybe a shutdown somewhere?, yesterday was crazy! Took the stitches out today with the help of my friends wife on the scissors..LOL
      Food has been good and I will try and post a short video soon!

    G'day all,
    Got some great shots today in perfect lighting in the early morn, not many trains today but a pair of CN Barn Doors on a west bound stack was a nice bonus! Lots of action tonight as the yard filled quickly around 9.00pm. Saw too trains with around 200 cars leave with mid train DPU's, no video as it was too dark . Up early tomorrow to catch some more AM freight!
